We are driven to be #1 purpose-led agency in Africa, and we’re looking for a new Creative Director to help us in that mission. Leading a team of thinkers and doers, the creative director will provide guidance and ideas to launch new impressive projects.

Bringing a mix of marketing expertise and business acumen to the role, you will devise the concepts and strategies for a particular venture and monitor its progress. The ideal candidate will have a natural eye for design. They will implement their creative vision and become the point of reference for any creative plan that wants to make its way to customers.

The goal is to achieve the best possible outcome for all our projects and generate dynamic ideas that unite brands with all types of audiences.

What You’ll Bring to the Table

• Conceive and implement concepts, plans and schedules for various creative projects and oversee them to completion

• Collaborate and supervise a cross-functional team of graphic designers, social media experts, photo/videographers, copywriters, and salespersons in the strategic development of messaging and deliverables

• Direct and motivate the different teams to help them harness their design, art, copy, digital, and marketing talents effectively

• Lead brainstorming/creative sessions to generate ideas

• Spearhead and manage the development of work that translates client objectives into innovative and compelling creative output and experiences

• Review and approve art and copy developed by the team, providing feedback that ensures deliverables address marketing goals and challenges effectively

• Train and guide subordinates into accomplished professionals

• Monitor results of team efforts and propose actions for the future

It’s Great If You Have:

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in marketing, design, business or relevant field

• 5 years of relevant experience, with seven or more as a creative director within an agency or corporate setting

• Hands-on experience in creative processes, marketing campaigns, graphic design, messaging, and brand development

• Experience in creating integrated content across all marketing channels: digital, social media, mobile, offline and print.

• Excellent working knowledge of software such as Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign etc.

• Experience in project management, with a focus on creative direction

• Outstanding leadership and organization skills

• Exemplary interpersonal and analytical abilities

• MA/MSc in a relevant field will be considered an asset
